The Nice Mummie
When people saw the posters they came to their house to meet the mummy. Everyone was so interested. Then one day the guy that waters the flowers that people leave at the graveyard came to the house and said that there was a missing person. Then he thought about it and figured out that it was the mummy.
So the next day the mummy had to go back to where he belonged. He was very nice about the whole thing. He said good-bye to all of the neighbors and the family that let him stay at their house and said hello to the graveyard. After that day no one saw the nice mummy ever again.

Chapter 2: Zeke
So after Zach was ready they went down to the sword room. They practiced for a bit and then they took a 30 minute break after they practiced their strong, cool sword fighting skills for 1 hour and a half. Zach and Zeke felt like it was 100 degrees out and they were playing softball all day long. When they got back to playing at the end Zeke was about to fake die and he just put up his arms up toward the sky and then toward Zach for fun and then wind was pushing Zach against the wall while Zeke still had his hands toward Zach and then finally put down his hand and took a run for it without his sword so Zach couldn’t yell at him and so he could figure out what happened.
When Zeke got to his room he locked the door and laid down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling for a bit and they got an idea of what could have had happen. Now he was very creative so his idea was that he had superpowers! When he first thought of it he was thinking that is was totally not what happened but, he realized that there was no other explanation and if he had super powers that means that his mom, dad, sister, and brother had to have powers too! And then he had to think about something else that would be a harder decision and that thing was to tell his family about it. So he took a few minutes to think about it and right was he came to a decision to not tell his family Zach was knocking on the bedroom door. Since the door was locked Zach couldn’t come in. But sooner or later his mom would come up and ask Zack what happened and then he would tell her and would ruin his plan to keep it a secret. So he had to answer the door so no one would find out and he wouldn’t have to go the doctor so his mom and dad could see if it going to affect his health and stuff like that. So he did answer it and Zach was saying, “What happened down there? If you held me up there any longer I could have died? How did you do it? It was really cool but dangerous!” “What and where? What are you talking about?” Zeke answered like he had no idea what he was talking about. He wanted to smile but then Zach would know he was lying so he kept the smile inside himself.
After Zach left Zeke’s bedroom confused, Zeke burst out laughing. He thought it was hilarious that he acted like he didn’t know what Zach was talking about. Then, he finally stopped laughing about 2 minutes after he started. His mom heard him laughing though and was wondering what was wrong. So when she got up to Zeke’s bedroom she knocked on his door and said, “Are you ok in there Zeke? I heard you laughing and I was wondering if you are okay.” “I am good Mom, I just saw something funny on T.V. that’s all.” Zeke replied calmly. After that, Zeke’s mom left. “Good thing I have a T.V. in my room or else I would have not known what to do.” Zeke quietly mumbled to himself as he happily lay down on his bed and he thought about how powerful his powers could be and how long he is going to keep this a secret from his family.

Volume 1: Discovery Chapter 1: What?
So one day Zeke and Zach went outside to practice their sword fighting skills as they do every day because they were training to be the greatest sword fighters in the world. They didn’t get trainers because they wanted to save money because of the economy and because they could use their brother to help them. They also practice every day so they could hopefully reach their goal of being the greatest sword fighters in the world. They used play swords so they didn’t hurt each other. They didn’t want to die when they were only 10 years old. They couldn’t wait until the day that they would use real swords and kill people though. Zach and Zeke promised each other they would never fight each other because they are brothers and they didn’t want to hurt each other.
That day when Zeke and Zach were practicing there was a sudden wind. Zach didn’t feel anything and didn’t see anything blowing and Zeke didn’t say anything so they just went back to fighting. After the wind had passed they went back to sword fighting and Zeke nailed Zach right in the heart. It didn’t really hurt Zach but, since they like acting like it is a real fight and they had real sword he acted like it really hurt. And Zeke acted like he was evil and was Zach’s enemy, so he was happy. For the rest of the day they kept reminding each other about it.
Elizabeth was training to be one of the greatest kung-fu fighters in the world instead of trying to become one of the greatest sword fighters in the world because she didn’t want to get hurt and die in a sword fight. Every day at 3:00 in the afternoon she would meet her kung-fu trainer outside to practice.
So when Elizabeth got to the kung-fu room on the first day of the new level of kung-fu her trainer wasn’t there! So she went to tell her mom and dad that her trainer wasn’t on time. So when Elizabeth told her parents, Elizabeth’s dad said, “Oh, sorry. I forgot to tell you that she called out sick.” Of course Elizabeth was sad, but what could she do? She still wanted to practice so she just reviewed what she learned the day before.
And while the Elizabeth, Zeke, and Zach where practicing Tammy and Ted were playing tennis. When it was the half way point it was a tie. So they decided to stop when someone got a point. After 30 more minutes of playing Tammy decided to just call the half way break time. She was really hot. So she decided to go inside the house and get a cool drink. So she did. After she did she felt much better. Good thing they got a 30 minute break because it took 29 minutes to cool off from all the tennis playing before the half way point. So when they started playing again when Ted hit the ball Tammy totally missed it and then when Tammy hit it for the first time Ted totally missed the ball. The final score on for the game was very close it was 109-100. Tammy won the game and Ted sadly lost. He was very sad.

The Pencil Story
Sadly my owner didn’t hear me. Please I can’t miss my sleepover with my friend. Then, he stops writing. He was walking with me somewhere. 10 seconds later I knew where he was taking me. He was taking me to…to…to the garbage can! It was awful.
He stopped right when the teacher told him to. Don’t throw away that pencil. “It is still useful.” the teacher said. “What for?” my owner asked. “You’ll see” she answered. He handed me to her. I did’n know what I was going to be used for. She put me down on her desk.
Then, I fell asleep. I took a long nap. When I woke up I…I was glued to other pencils hanging on a wall. It was very weird. All the other pencils were almost as small as me. I asked the pencil next me and what we were hanging on the wall for and she said we are on the “Look how many pencils we used up so far” wall. “That explains it.” I answered. So my life will live much longer than it would if I was thrown away. But how much longer will I last?

The New Girl in the School
Once there was a little girl named Elizabeth. She just moved to New Jersey from Mississippi. She doesn’t know anyone. This is her first time moving and she just turned 10. So before school when she was waiting for the bus kids were talking to her to try and get to know her, but she didn’t listen.
So when she got to school a girl named Liz came up to her. “Hi. My name is Liz. Are you new?” Elizabeth just nodded. “I’m new here too. I am from Mississippi. Where are you from?” Liz asked. “Mississippi.” Elizabeth answered. “You talk! My friend said you never talked!” Elizabeth just walked away. Liz never saw Elizabeth the rest of the morning. Then, at lunch she saw her sitting alone at a table.
When Liz got to the table Elizabeth said “Can I please be alone right now?” So Liz just walked away. Then, Liz never saw Elizabeth for the rest of the day.

The Secret Person
“Where could it be?”Sarah heard. The voice sounded like someone she knew's voice. She thought and thought about who it could be, but no one was in mind. She wanted to see who it was but she didn’t know what could be on that side of her house. “Nothing weird,” she said to herself. So she went over to the closest hallway. And she heard the voice down that hallway! She looked in each room and saw no one in the rooms. When she got to the last door on the hallway she saw someone look thought the stuff in that room.
“Who are you?”Sarah asked. “It is just me Sarah.” the voice answered. Now, the voice sounded more like her moms. But it had a little higher pitch. “Mom is that you?” “Yes.” The voice answered. Sarah was so happy that it she wasn't a stranger. “Why aren’t you with Joey?” Sarah said. “Joey’s mom came home early because her boss thought she was working to hard. I am her because I am looking for my yoga mat.” she answered. ”It is right over there.” Sarah told her mom.

One Sad Day
The problem was the success was going to Ray’s head. He started to think that he was such a powerful superhero that he didn’t need Sam’s help anymore. This made Sam feel sad. Finally, Sam got so fed up he told Ray he couldn’t tie his shoes anymore. When it was time for the next race, Ray was confident that he could win the race without Sam. The starting buzzer sounded, and Ray took off with a big thump! By the final lap, he was far ahead of the other drivers. Suddenly, Ray heard a big exploding noise, and his racecar flipped over and came to a halt. He got out and saw that his front tire had come loose! Without Sam around to fix it, Ray had to resort to phoning his mom. All of the other cars whooshed past him, and he finished in dead last!
After the race Ray told Sam that he was the pit crew helper ever. They went back to being best friends… not to mention race car champions.

The Charm Forest
But one day, the forest was suddenly silent. Katie sang for two whole hours, but none of the plants answered her. Then she realized that the leaves on the trees were turning purple and there was a thin layer of frost on the ground. The plants were so quiet because the winter was coming!
Katie tried to get used to her friends not being around, but she was just so grumpy without them. So she decided to cast a spell. Picking up her star dust and reading from the Newspaper, Katie spread a group of pixies throughout the entire forest. All of a sudden, the forest disappeared, and the plants sprung back to life! They all said a big Hooray! to Katie.
And ever since then, no matter what time of year it is, the Charm Forest was always green and blooming.

The Secret Key
“I remember what he looked like,” she told her parents. “Did you ever think that it was his key?” her mom asked. “No because I saw his keys in his pocket.” Liz answered. No one talked for two to five minutes. Liz told her mom that she was going to look for the man.
After she walked two block she saw the man! She ran the man and told him, “ Does that key belong to you? Because I see your keys in your pocket.” “No they don’t belong to me but they do belong to my wife,” he answered. “Sorry for all of the trouble I caused you,” she said. Then she walked away. “At least I solved that problem,” she said as she walked away.

The Scary Castle
Once there was a little girl who saw a king-sized castle. Her name is Beth. She wanted to know what was inside. So she went inside. There were skeletons hanging everywhere. She tip-toed down the long hallway.
“Grr!” Beth heard. The sound came from down a hallway. When she got to a door she saw fire! She was very brave so she went inside the door and saw nothing! There was a huge door on the other side of the room. The door was almost burnt to a crisp!
“Grr!” she heard again. This time she was closer to the sound. She always had her journal with her so she wrote what the sound could be coming from. Her scariest idea was a dragon! She thought about it for a few minutes.
“Wow!”Beth said. She said wow because she opened the door a little and she saw a big eye! So she crossed out all of the small animals. The only thing left on the list was…a dragon! She opened the door the rest of the way. When she did she saw a real…dragon! She ran for her life out of the door. The dragon ran after her!
When she was out of the castle she locked the vast door shut. Finally she was safe.
